Itinerary

DAY 1: WELCOME TO BANGKOK

Our tour guide will meet you at the Suvarnabhumi Airport and take you to your hotel in Bangkok.

Once you’ve checked in, you may relax at the hotel or explore the city. Overnight in Bangkok.

DAY 2: BANGKOK CITY FULL DAY TOUR (B, L)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the city tour.  We will visit the Grand Royal Palace, which is home to Thailand’s royal family first. The majestic Wat Phra Kaew, famous for housing the Emerald Buddha Statue, is located within the same complex.

After exploring this complex, we move on to Wat Pho, a huge temple with the Reclining Buddha, and then head to Wat Traimit, also called the Golden Buddha.
Board a long tail boat in the afternoon for a tour on the Chao Phraya River and other busy inner canals that provide amazing views of nearby local life. We make a stop at Wat Arun, the Aube temple, along the route.
Return to the hotel and spend the night in Bangkok.

DAY 3 : AUTHAYA DISCOVERY FULL DAY - NIGHT TRAIN / BUS TO CHIANG MAI (B, L)

Depart from Bangkok, you first reach Bang Pa-In Palace – the Summer Palace, boasting a mix of European, gothic and Thai-Buddhist architecture. Take the time to explore the charming temples, wander in a circle around the lake with a colorful tower and also admire the palace’s architecture of unusual excellence. 

Continue the trip with a short visit to Wat Yai Chai Mongkol – a temple said to have been built by King U-Thong as a place for monks returning from Sri Lanka to rest their heads on the eastern banks of the Pa Sak River.

Then take a short walk to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet – which was the holiest temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in Thailand’s ancient capital of Ayutthaya until the city was completely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. You also have chance to visit Wat Mahathat – “the temple of the Great Relic” was one of the most important temples in the Ayutthaya Kingdom. It is a highly-sacred temple famous for its Lord Buddha relics and traditional style once used as a model for other temples in the ancient kingdom.

Enjoy lunch in a riverside restaurant with traditional Thai dishes while reveling in the scenery of the river.  

Finally, go to a local floating market and visit Arts of the Kingdom Museum – which exhibits the art collections created by the craftspeople of Queen Sirikit Institute (close Monday & Tuesday).

After all, you will return to Bangkok

DAY 4 : BANGKOK – FREE DAY (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel. It’s a free day to explore Bangkok on your own.

DAY 5 : BANGKOK TAKE FLIGHT TO CHIANG MAI (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy free time for leisure until flight time, our driver will transfer you to Bangkok Airport to catch a flight to Chiang Mai.

Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Chiang Mai for checki-in. Enjoy free time for leisure for the rest of the day.

DAY 6 : FULL-DAY DISCOVER HILL TRIBES & ARTISANS EXPERIENCE (B, L)

Pick-up from your hotel  

Drive approximately 1.5 hours through rolling hills, forests, and local farming areas to Maetaeng.

Arrive at the Maetaeng Elephant Park & Clinic.

Learn about the elephants and change into traditional clothing. 

Meet the elephants. Watch the show, feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants. 

Ride (1.5 km) with elephants and experience bamboo rafting for about 20 minutes.

Enjoy a traditional meal and then say goodbye to the elephants.  

Learn how to take care for elephants (make the elephant’s foods and walk with the elephants to the river and bathe them).

Walk in Karen Village – Long Neck ethnic groups.

Transfer to Hand Craft Centre to learn about making traditional umbrellas.

Drop-off at your hotel.

DAY 7 : CHIANG MAI DEPARTURE (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a free day until our driver transfers you to the airport for your flight for departure.
